“Willie Nelson Austin 1972” Screen Print by Zeb Love x Iconic by Collectionzz

“Willie Nelson Austin 1972” Screen Print by Zeb Love x Iconic by Collectionzz

Collectionzz has just released this beautiful poster by artist Zeb Love commemorating Willie Nelson’s legendary show at the Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, Texas on August 12, 1972. This concert was the “big bang” of modern Austin music, and the show that put the “progressive country” movement on the map. As Collectionzz explained, “The art symbolically represents the “journey” in Willie’s career from Nashville to Austin, which was a significant moment in not only country music, but pop music history. Because of Willie’s well publicized love of horses and animals in general, the artist decided to make Willie's journey on horseback, with the city of Austin in the distance.”

“Willie Nelson Austin 1972” by Zeb Love is an 18”x24” signed and numbered 6 color screen print on French White 100lb Cover paper. The Day Edition is limited to 100 pieces and retails for $75, while the Dusk Edition is limited to 35 pieces and retails for $125. Both are available now at reserve.collectionzz.com!

As with all posters from Iconic by Collectionzz, all orders have the chance to land extremely rare variants that are not (and never will be) for sale. For this Willie Nelson release, there will be a Jazzy Foil Variant (Edition of 1), and a Light Pillar Foil Variant (Edition of 2) randomly placed in tubes!
