Yesterday, Mondo held a fantastic San Diego Comic-Con 2020 panel entitled “An Evening With Toys – A Sneak Peek at Mondo's Toys and Collectibles Lineup” where they showcased a ton of their upcoming releases. The one announcement that really blew The Blot’s mind was that Mondo had teamed up with legendary toy designer James Groman to bring his unique toy designs to the Marvel Universe!
Mondo will be working with Groman on a new line of Marvel Comics Soft Vinyl Figures, and they’re kicking it off with the classic Marvel monster, Man-Thing! As Mondo explained, “James has done a mind-blowing job on this design. On top of creating this bonkers design, James will be sculpting and painting this figure too.” This insanely detailed figure in James Groman’s signature art style will stand approximately 12” tall and is slated to be made available for pre-order in August 2021.
