DKE Toys will be exhibiting at San Diego Comic Con again this year with a ton of fantastic resin figures and bootleg toys, including the SDCC 2022 Exclusive Bootleg Gold Gay Empire Resin Figure by Lou Pimentel x Sucklord! Over the past few years at New York Comic Con, artist Lou Pimentel has hand painted approximately 20 different card backs in watercolor. That series is called Vintage Gold and each had a vintage style toy glued to the art for that vintagey action figure feel.
Starting at SDCC 2020, DKE Toys decided to “bootleg” their own series. These cardbacks are printed so DKE can offer a lower price point of $30. This is the fourth in the Bootleg Gold series. Each one has a “bootleg” of the Gay Empire resin figure and are signed by both Sucklord and Lou Pimentel. Limited to 200 pieces, this resin bootleg Star Wars figure can be purchased at the DKE Toys SDCC booth #2643 for $30. In an effort to not alienate their online customer base that DKE Toys has cultivated over the past few years, they will be offering all exclusives for sale online first at noon PT on Friday, July 15th, at DKEToys.com/store.
