Batman “The Dark Knight” Trilogy Screen Print by Gabz x Bottleneck Gallery

Today, Bottleneck Gallery will be releasing the newest entry in Gabz’ triptych series for Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy! The Darkest Night Edition is limited to 250 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Purging Fire Edition is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $75. BNG is also releasing a Legendary Edition Aluminum Print on a 2mm thick aluminum panel. It is limited to 50 pieces and will retail for $200.

Unfortunately, this killer DC Comics screen print was only available as part of Bottleneck Gallery’s year end mystery tube sale released in conjunction with Acme Archives and Vice Press. “Batman Begins” was randomly inserted in the mystery tubes, and unfortunately those tubes are now sold out.

Celebrate Batman Day With New Mondo Screen Prints by Patrick Leger & Gianmarco Magnani

This Saturday is Batman Day, and to celebrate DC Comics’ the Caped Crusader Mondo will be releasing two new screen prints from completely opposite ends of the Dark Knight’s longstanding history. I love the juxtaposition of Batman with the film’s title, and the red background really makes Leger’s brooding Batman pop. Batman Begins by Patrick Leger is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print. For Mondo’s second Batman Day release they’re taking us on a walk down memory lane, all the way to 1966 in fact! The Blot loves the simplicity of Gianmarco Magnani’s Batman ’66 screen print featuring Yvonne Craig as Batgirl and her signature motorcycle. It warms The Blot’s heart to see how beloved that campy TV show is still today! Mondo's 75 Years of Batman: Part 3 On Sale Info!

Later today Mondo will be releasing its third batch of prints from their “75 Years of Batman” group art show! This epic gallery show celebrates the 75th anniversary of the first publication of a Batman comic book by DC Comics. The theme of 75 Years of Batman: Part 3 is movies, with all of these prints inspired by the Dark Knight’s many appearances on the big screen. This final wave of Batman prints includes designs by Kevin Tong, Craig Drake, Phantom City Creative, Jay Shaw, DKNG and Jason Edmiston. All of the prints seen here will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, November 20th, at the Mondo online store.

Batman Trexi Vinyl Figure Series by Play Imaginative

Play Imaginative continues its line of DC Comics Trexi figures (originally seen here) with a new series of Batman Trexi! There are four versions of Batman included in this series: DC Originals, Urban Legend, Batman Begins and Dark Knight Rises. Each 2.5” vinyl figure comes with two facial expressions (one on each side of its head), includes a cape (not pictured), and comes packaged in a full color window box. This way you know exactly which version of The Dark Knight you’re getting!

The Blot loves that they’re mixing comic book versions of Batman with movie versions of the character, and I think with the cape these figures will look really nice. My only issue is the head and how weird the bat ears look on the Trexi platform’s ears. Obviously that’s the only way to do it, but I don’t think the off centered look is a good look for Bruce Wayne. He’s way too prim and proper for that!

The Batman Trexi Series by Play Imaginative is scheduled to hit store shelves sometime in January 2013, and will retail for around $10-15 per figure.

The Batman Movie Trilogy Cosbaby Series

To celebrate tomorrow’s release of The Dark Knight Rises, Hot Toys is releasing the Batman Movie Trilogy Cosbaby Series, which includes nine different vinyl figures (three from each movies). Featuring characters Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, The Batman Movie Trilogy Cosbaby Series includes “Batman Begins” Batman, Bruce Wayne (Batsuit Begins Version), Scarecrow, The Joker, Batman (The Dark Knight Bomb Gun Version), The Joker (Bank Robber Version), Bane, The Dark Knight Rises Batman and Catwoman. That’s three Batmans, two Jokers and three cute versions of Batman’s worst enemies.

Each Batman Movie Trilogy Cosbaby vinyl figure stands 3” tall, includes multiple points of articulation and will retails for $10 each. Expect this Hot Toys x DC Comics collaboration to hit store shelves in July, August or September 2012.
