What’s great about this specific color is that it looks identical to the original Deadbeet figure’s first release. It’s true what they say, you can’t keep a good beet down! Every time The Blot thinks Scott Tolleson’s beloved Deadbeet is officially retired, he surprises us all with another killer colorway of the undead root. Check out these insane Golden Deadbeets! Each 7.5” figure features an insane amount of gold lame infused in soft Japanese vinyl. There will be three different versions, an unpainted Golden Edition, a Red Rub Golden Edition and a Blue Rub Golden Edition. What’s really really cool is that the rubs were done by legendary sofubi artist Goto-san from Japan!

Each Golden Deadbeet colorway is limited to just 10 pieces and retails for $60 each. All three versions of the Golden Deadbeet will go on sale at 9am PST today, Friday, May 26th, at Scott Tolleson’s online store.

Just when you thought Scott Tolleson’s Deadbeet 7.5” vinyl figure had been retired forever, Scott drops not one but two new colorways at San Diego Comic-Con 2016! For the beloved undead vegetable’s second Comic-Con exclusive, Tolleson has teamed up with Datadub to release the “Steam Beets” Deadbeet, which features paints by legendary Japanese toy painter Goto-San! Tolleson has announced his zombie-like Deadbeet vinyl figure has risen from the ground once again in a super limited San Diego Comic-Con 2016 colorway. The SDCC 2016 Exclusive Purple Bling Deadbeet comes unpainted and is cast in purple soft Japanese vinyl with tons and tons of sparkly glitter. DCon Exclusive Custom Deadbeet Vinyl Figure Micro Run by Leecifer

Even though Scott Tolleson retired the figure last summer, we’re still getting a Designer Con 2015 exclusive Deadbeet 7.5” vinyl figure thanks to Leecifer!!! The customizer extraordinaire got his hands on some Deadbeets and painted up a beautiful micro run of customs. These look fantastic, but I bet they look even more amazing in person.
