SDCC 13 Exclusive Baxtar Fonzo by Scott Tolleson

Freak Store’s mascot Fonzo is back! He makes his long awaited return at San Diego Comic-Con 2013 with an exclusive new colorway entitled "Baxtar" designed by Scott Tolleson. The SDCC 2013 Exclusive Baxtar Fonzo is based on a custom Scott produced for the Fonzo custom show “Fonzo Loves NY” and looks awesome! The Blot was lucky enough to see a production sample Baxtar at last month’s Comicpalooza here in Houston and I was blown away by how super clean its QC was.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive Baxtar Fonzo by Scott Tolleson has a limited edition run size of just 200 pieces and can be purchased at Scott’s SDCC booth #5139 for $60.

NYCC 12 Exclusive Kinda Blu Custom Series by Ryan the Wheelbarrow

Ryan the Wheelbarrow has been hard at work on a new series of customs for New York Comic-Con 2012 entitled Kinda Blu! The Kinda Blu ty_po 3″ Dunny series has a limited edition run size of 7 pieces available blind boxed style for $75 each. Each figure has been crafted with dry transfer instant lettering and Montana spray paint. There is 1 chase in the series that features a hint of Ryan’s [O8STACLES] style popping out if its head! It’s a pretty cool effect if you ask The Blot!

Wheelbarrow is also releasing his first custom Fonzo in his very crisp Kinda Blu text_r style and is entitled “hint hint wink wink.” Created using di-cut vinyl letters and Montana spray paint, this one of a kind 6” custom vinyl figure will retail for $150. Along with Fonzo, Ryan has customized his first Mega Munny as well. The Kinda Blu Mega Munny ($750) features Wheelbarrow’s latest styling nicknamed x-text_r. x-text_r uses matte and glossy spray paints with dicut vinyl letters as a mask. The Blot’s really loving this new effect Wheelbarrow has come up with! I love seeing how his unique art style is constantly growing and evolving.

SDCC 12 Exclusive GID Fonzo by Gary Ham & Freak Store

The third colorway of Freak Store’s Fonzo vinyl figure has been announced, and it’s this awesome San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive Glow in the Dark colorway! The Blot’s a sucker for GID vinyl, and combine that with Gary Ham’s fun design and you’ve got a must get at this summer’s preeminent pop culture extravaganza. This 6” figure, based on Freak Store’s pet French bulldog Fonzo and designed by Ham, has a limited edition run size of 100 figures and can be purchased exclusively at Gary’s SDCC booth #4836. While you’re there, you can also get Gary to sign the figure for you.

DIY Blank Fonzo Vinyl Figure by Freak Store

Freak Store has unveiled the second colorway of its popular Fonzo vinyl figure, and this version is a blank white Do It Yourself version. This 6” DIY figure is perfect for customizing or joining a shelf of your other favorite blank art toys. If you’re not familiar with Fonzo, he’s inspired by Freak Store’s French bulldog mascot and is a great new platform hitting the scene.

The DIY Blank Fonzo will be available in stores worldwide in a couple of weeks, with an announcement of the very first Custom Fonzo Show following soon thereafter! Gary Ham x Freak Store “Fonzo” Vinyl Figure

Freak Store, Venezuela’s preeminent designer vinyl toy store, has teamed up with artist Gary Ham to produce its very first vinyl figure, Fonzo! Fonzo, the store’s official mascot, is based on Freak Store’s pet French bulldog and looks like a really fun designer toy. The Blot loves Gary Ham’s work, and Fonzo definitely reflects his unique style. Admit it, these 6” vinyl figures would look killer next to the Hermees in your collection! You do have a Hermees right?

The Standard Edition Fonzo seen here has a limited edition run size of 200 pieces and will be available for purchased next week in a store near you for $60. Rumor has it the figure has a mystery chase colorway that will be randomly inserted in boxes. So good luck hunting down a rare chase Fonzo!
