We’re still a few months away from the world premiere of DC Comics’ newest live action film, Black Adam starring The Rock, but to build anticipation Funko has unveiled a killer new line of Black Adam Pop! vinyl figures! “Challenge of the Superfriends” DC Comics Screen Print by Dave Perillo x Grey Matter Art

Oh man, The Blot was super pumped to learn Grey Matter Art would be releasing an officially licensed screen print for one of my all time favorite cartoons, Challenge of the Superfriends, by artist Dave Perillo!  This sequel to the iconic DC Comics cartoon Super Friends pits the ‘70s and ‘80s animated version of the Justice League against the evil Legion of Doom.  As GMA explained, “Dave is able to feature all of our favorite characters into this poster making it an ultimate who’s who of DC Superfriends and it also serves quite well as a companion piece to the Justice League Unlimited poster we did earlier this year!”

Challenge of the Superfriends by Dave Perillo is an 18”x24” hand numbered DC Comics screen print.  The Regular Edition is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $40, while the Foil Variant is limited to 65 pieces and will retail for $55.  Both Justice League posters will go on sale at 1pm ET on Thursday, December 17th, at GreyMatterArt.com.

Funko has unveiled a second wave of DC Comics Universe Dorbz vinyl figures! This release is right up The Blot’s alley, with a great mix of iconic DC Comics super heroes. The LEGO Batman Movie Poster

The Blot really loves this latest theatrical one sheet movie poster for Warner Bros’ upcoming film, The LEGO Batman Movie! It features Batman’s entire corner of the DC Comics universe represented in LEGO form, plus some of his Justice League team members like Superman, Wonder Woman and The Flash. This movie is going to be soooo good! Best of all is the poster’s tagline, “Always Be Yourself… Unless You Can Be Batman.”

The LEGO Batman Movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 10, 2017 and stars Will Arnett as LEGO Batman, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, Michael Cera as Robin (Dick Grayson), Rosario Dawson as Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), Jenny Slate as Harley Quinn, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred and Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face.

Over the past few years Funko has released a number of awesome Pop! vinyl figures based on The CW’s super popular DC Comics television universe, including characters from Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl! The Blot was excited to learn yesterday that Funko will be continuing its DCW Pop! line with a wave of figures based on the TV show Legends of Tomorrow just in time for the series’ second season. The Legends of Tomorrow Pop! Television Series includes The Atom, White Canary, Firestorm and Hawkman.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Character Television Posters

This Thursday, January 21st, The CW will premiere its newest DC Comics television series set in the Arrowverse, Legends of Tomorrow! The Blot is super hyped about this show starring a new super hero team made up of heroes and villains from the DC Comics TV universe. Booster Gold’s son) will appear in a live action television show. Add in my all-time favorite villain, the leader of the rouges Captain Cold, and you’ve got yourself an action packed line-up! DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will air Thursday nights on The CW at 8/7c.
