DCon 2022 Exclusive Chroma Lizardo Digital Prints on Holographic Rainbow Foil Paper by N.C. Winters

N.C. Winters will be debuting his newest print – Chroma Lizardo – exclusively at Designer Con 2022 this weekend in Anaheim, CA! It’s a shiny, fancy new print on holographic rainbow foil with all kinds of cool stuff going on. The print is on matte foil with multiple layers of spot gloss varnish that both enhances the iridescent foil in addition to adding some pretty wild raised textures to the scales.

“Chroma Lizardo” will be available in three DCon 2022 Exclusive colorways: Emerald, Ruby, and Lapis. Each signed and numbered digital print measures 9”x12” and comes on holographic rainbow foil with satin and spot gloss layers. Each colorway is limited to just 50 pieces and can be purchased at N.C. DCon 2022 Exclusive Lepidoptera 16 & 17 Giclee Prints by N.C. Winters

N.C. Winters continues his amazing Lepidoptera series with the release of two new DesignerCon 2022 Exclusive bugs! The DCon 2022 Exclusive Lepidoptera 16 “Reptile” and DCon 2022 Exclusive Lepidoptera 17 “Flux” are 10”x8” signed and numbered archival giclee prints on cold press natural cotton rag. Each print is limited to 160 pieces.

SDCC 2022 Exclusive Sigarda Screen Prints by N.C. Winters

N.C. Winters will debuting a new screen print at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 entitled “Sigarda”! It was originally created for the Magic: The Gathering card he designed for the character Sigarda, Champion of Light. Sigarda by N.C. Winters is an 18”x24” signed and numbered 4 color screen print. The Warm Colorway is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $50, while the Cool Colorway is limited to 60 pieces and will retail for $60. Both can be purchased at N.C. Winters’ SDCC booth #4619.

SDCC 2022 Exclusive B3TLs Series 1 Print Set by N.C. Winters

Check out artist N.C. Winters’ newest print series, B3TL, which is debuting exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 later this week! B3TL is an experimental print series that features some of the more hard-shell distant cousins of Winters’ popular Lepidoptera moths. The SDCC 2022 Exclusive B3TLs Series 1 Print Set includes four unique B3TLs (clockwise from top left): Scroll, Scarab, Skull, and Stick. 

Each B3TL is a 5”x7” signed and numbered fine art giclee print. This B3TL Series 1 print set is limited to just 150 sets, and can be purchased at N.C. Winters’ SDCC booth #4619 for $100. SDCC 2022 Exclusive Lepidoptera 14 & 15 Giclee Prints by N.C. Winters

N.C. Winters continues his amazing Lepidoptera series with the release of two new San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Exclusive bugs (each with its own variant)! First up is the SDCC 2022 Exclusive Lepidoptera 14 “Luna”, which is a 10”x8” signed and numbered fine art giclee print. The Winter Colorway is limited to 160 pieces and is sold as a set with the Lepidoptera 14 “Sphinx” Spring Edition for $90. The “Luna” Spring Edition is limited to 40 pieces and retails for $60. 

The San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Exclusive Lepidoptera 15 “Sphinx” is also a 10”x8” signed and numbered fine art giclee print. The Spring Colorway is limited to 160 pieces and is sold as a set with the Lepidoptera 14 “Luna” Spring Edition for $90. The “Sphinx” Winter Edition is limited to 40 pieces and retails for $60.

N.C. Winters DCon 2021 Exclusive Prints

N.C. Winters will be at Designer Con 2021 this weekend sling art in booth #1013. Along with a number of epic original drawings / paintings, Winters will also be selling four beautiful new DCon 2021 exclusive prints! First up is a brand new giclée art print entitled “Witness”, which will be available in two colorways.

“Witness” is an 18”x18” signed and numbered fine art giclee print on Moab Entrada natural 100% cotton rag. The Aubergine Edition is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $100, while the Veridian Edition is limited to 60 pieces and will retail for $120. There will also be a Hand Embellished Edition of each colorway that is limited to 10 pieces and will retail for $275/$285 each. These Hand Embellished prints will each be one of a kind, embellished with various media such as acrylics, inks, interference acrylics, spot gloss varnish, etc.

For N.C. Winters’ next Designer Con 2021 exclusive you’re going to need your bug nets! That’s because Winters is also releasing two new Lepidoptera prints – “Lepidoptera 8: Mycelium” and “Lepidoptera 9: Viper”. Each Lepidoptera is a 10”x8” signed and numbered fine art giclee print on cold press natural cotton rag paper. Limited to 200 pieces each, these prints will only be sold together as a set for $90. Court of the Dead “The Demithyle: Reaper” Artist Variant Edition Screen Print by N.C. Winters x Sideshow Collectibles

If you missed out on Sideshow Collectibles’ release of the N.C. Winters Court of the Dead screen print “The Demithyle: Reaper” last year, you’re in luck!  That’s because today N.C. will be releasing a new Artist Variant Edition of that sick posters!  N.C. will also be releasing a few Artist Proof copies of the Regular Edition available as well. As usual, Winters will also make available a very small amount of hand embellished prints for those wanting an extra personal touch. These are prints embellished with inks, acrylics and gold leaf for something extra special!

“The Demithyle: Reaper” Artist Variant Edition Screen Print by N.C. Winters measures 18”x24” and is limited to just 50 pieces. This signed and numbered poster features 9 colors and is printed on 100# Construction White French Paper.  The Artist Variant will retail for $85, while the Han Embellished Artist Variant (LE 5) will sell for $225. “Bad Omen” Fine Art Print Wave 1 by N.C. Winters

Later today, N.C. Winters will release the first wave of 2 colorways of his new fine art print, Bad Omen!  As Winters explained, “I’m blown away with how this print turned out, as it’s a perfect encapsulation of my preferred medium: stream of consciousness. The goal for this print was to really push the boundaries of what I am capable of creatively and through the screenprint medium. Transparent colors are built up in transparent tones, much like watercolor, to try and get a wide range of color and tonal value with as few plates as possible. The final product was then pushed a little further with a spot gloss varnish on the shiny and “wet” areas of the piece – metals, eyes, etc.”

“Bad Omen” by N.C. Winters will be released in two waves. There are a total of four colorways, with only the first two editions available today as part of Wave 1.  It is an 18”x24” signed and numbered 7 color screen print including a spot clear varnish on Neenah cotton rag paper with hand torn deckled edges. The main Classic Edition is limited to 200 pieces and will retail for $100, while the Midnight Variant is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $125.

There will also be an option for hand embellished variants of each edition for $400 each.  These will be limited to just 10 pieces of each edition and will be uniquely hand embellished with ink wash, acrylics, interference inks, clear varnish, gold leaf, etc.  All four options will go on sale at 10:34am PT today, Tuesday, November 24th, at NCWinters.bigcartel.com.

Court of the Dead “The Demithyle: Reaper” Screen Print by N.C. Winters x Sideshow Collectibles

Sideshow Collectibles continues its epic Court of the Dead screen print series with “The Demithyle: Reaper” by N.C. Winters!  Court of the Dead, it is Sideshow’s debut original property, and it is crazy in all the best ways.  For this release, Winters pulls inspiration from both gothic and art nouveau art styles and surrounds the Exalted Reaper General in an ornate, gilded frame. In the background of the portrait, a Celestial light pierces the sky and illuminates an ancient city. In the foreground, Demithyle glows with golden etherea.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg “I Dissent” Art Print & Fundraiser by N.C. Winters

Check out this beautiful new art print “I Dissent” by N.C. Winters, which celebrates the life of the Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg.  As Winters explained, “Things are pretty intense right now.  There’s just too much going on in every direction, and like many of you, I’m wishing there was more I could do. The passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spurred me into action and I’ve decided to try and do something about how I feel. So I’ve made a new art print, and am donating half of the proceeds to the ACLU to raise money for those who combat the widespread injustice going on in the country right now.

“I Dissent” by N.C. “Fading Away” Art Print by N.C. Winters x PangeaSeed

N.C. Winters has teamed up with PangeaSeed to release this gorgeous new seven color screen print “Fading Away”, which highlights the current plight of the planet’s coral. As N.C. explained, “It was challenging to both illustrate the beauty of what we’re rapidly losing due to climate change and pollution, but also underscore the danger of the current situation. Thus, two versions of the print were made. The full “lush” version highlights the overwhelming color and beauty of a natural coral reef, while the “bleached” version emphasizes how much of the coral is looking today, bleached, devoid of color and near dead.”

“Fading Away” by N.C. Winters is an 18”x24” signed and numbered screen print on French Construction Pure White 100 lb cover paper in both a full color Lush Edition and the desaturated Bleached Edition. Each edition also comes in two versions: regular and deluxe. The regular version of each edition features seven colors, while the deluxe versions feature an additional two plates – a glow in the dark layer as well as a transparent spot gloss glitter flake for added emphasis.

Fading Away Lush Regular Edition is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $75, while the Lush Deluxe Edition is limited to 75 pieces and will retail for $135. “A Moment of Magic” Art Print by N.C. Winters

This Saturday, N.C. Winters will be releasing his newest art print, “A Moment of Magic”. It is an art print version of Winters’ Dave Matthews Band gig poster from September of last year. As N.C. explained, “I knew I wanted to release the image on its own at some point as an art print, and in working on it since the original, the world has changed in many ways. It’s made it hard at times to continue certain creative plans made in the past, while properly focusing my creative energies on the right way to move forward. Many have expressed that me continuing to make art and do what I’m doing is still appreciated, and that makes some of it easier. “Fragile” Fine Art Print by N.C. Winters

Artist N.C. Winters is taking his beautiful “Fragile” artwork from his popular Nine Inch Nails gig poster last year and releasing it as a fine art print. As Winters explained, “It was incredibly well received, which was amazing on so many levels. There simply weren’t enough posters to go around, and there was huge demand for an art print release, so I’m happy to accommodate.” Winters will be releasing “Fragile” as a timed edition in two different colorways, along with a third limited edition colorway.

Fragile by N.C. Winters is an 18”x24” signed and numbered 6 color screen print on pure white stock. The Regular Edition ($45) and Lavender Edition ($50) will be timed editions, so the edition size of both colorways will be determined by the number of prints pre-ordered The Burn Edition is limited to 200 pieces and will retail for $75.
