Funko has announced a new wave of Spastik Plastik themed San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Exclusive Pop! vinyl figures! This new wave of SDCC exclusives includes two limited edition figures: Spastik Plastik Gill Pop! (LE 5,000) and Spastik Plastik Sam Pop! (LE 5,000).

For those collectors heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2016 without badges here’s a can’t miss activity! Funko’s Funko-Shop.com is setting up a Pop! Up Shop at 448 West Market Street in the Marina District directly across from the Grand Hyatt Manchester where they will be releasing a killer slate of San Diego Comic-Con 2016 exclusives! The Pop! Up Shop will be open Thursday-Sunday (July 21-24) from 10:00am-3:00pm each day.

What’s really exciting about this wave of exclusives is it marks the launch of a new line of Spastik Plastic Pop! vinyl figures! Spastik Plastik was a line filled with original characters dreamed up by Funko's designers. They’re also releasing a Big Boy Pop!, which is special as Big Boy was the very first product Funko ever sold (in Wacky Wobbler form). Funko is at Emerald City Comicon 2016 where they are releasing a crazy amount of green colored exclusives, including these awesome ECCC 2016 Exclusive Freddy Funko Pop! and Dorbz vinyl figures. The Emerald City Comicon Freddy Funky Dorbz stands 3” tall, is limited to 250 pieces and retails for $10, while the Seattle Seahawks 12th Man Freddy Funko Pop! stands 3.75” tall, is limited to 250 pieces and retails for $15. SDCC Fundays 2015 Exclusive The Avengers Retro Freddy Funko Vinyl Figures

Every year on the Friday night of San Diego Comic-Con, Funko holds its annual Fundays event where they give away to their fans “Box of Fun” full of protos and super rare Freddy Funko items. On top of that, they also give away to randomly selected fans super limited Freddy Funko items. This year that included this epic series of The Avengers Retro Freddy Funko vinyl figures! Each Retro Freddy was dressed up as a different member of Marvel's The Avengers, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the Hulk. Pretty awesome right!?! The Blot is dying to get his hands one on of these!

Each Fundays 2015 Exclusive The Avengers Retro Freddy Funko Vinyl Figure stands 6” tall, comes packaged in a character specific full color window box and is limited to just 144 pieces (per character).

SDCC 2015 Exclusive Pop! Tees T-Shirts by Funko - Marvel, MOTU, TMNT & More!

Funko is bringing with them close to 70 different San Diego Comic-Con exclusive vinyl figures this year, but what The Blot is most excited about is Funko’s line of SDCC 2015 exclusive t-shirts! Next week at Comic-Con, Funko will be launching their new line of limited edition Pop! Tees t-shirts, which transforms your favorite Pop! vinyl figures into collectible apparel. To kick things off, Funko will be releasing officially licensed t-shirts featuring their mascot Freddy Funko, Marvel’s Black Widow, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Masters of the Universe’s Skeletor and the Ghostbusters’ Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!

Each San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Exclusive Pop! Tees T-Shirt by Funko comes packaged in a full color, character specific Pop! Tee box and will be available in Men’s sizes XS - 3X (except for the Black Widow t-shirt, which comes in Women's sizes XS - 3X). Collectors can get one, or all six, at the Funko SDCC booth.

SDCC 13 Exclusive B&W Freddy Funko 9” Pop! Vinyl Figure by Funko

Funko released another surprise San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive on preview night and it was this awesome Black and White Freddy Funko 9” Pop! vinyl figure! Anything Freddy Funko is always awesome, but I love that his speech bubble features the SDCC logo! I’m a sucker for any official exclusive with the Comic-Con logo, and this one is perfectly suited for its inclusion. Now if only Funko produced a matching 4” version The Blot wouldn’t be able to resist. Here’s hoping it’s not released at Funko’s 2013 Fun Days because then I’ll definitely never be able to get my hands on one.

Limited to just 240 pieces, collectors can purchase this limited edition black and white Comic-Con exclusive directly from Funko at their SDCC booth #5343 while supplies last.  Rumor has it that Gemini Collectibles released a colored version yesterday limited to just 50 pieces but it already sold out.

The World of POP! Vinyl Figures Volume 1 by Funko

Funko’s Pop! series is without a doubt the most diverse toy line in history, combining more licensed properties than I can even list here. Seriously, the line features super heroes, movie actors, musicians, Disney characters and everything in between! To commemorate this successful line of cute vinyl figures, Funko is releasing a hardcover book documenting all of their releases to date entitled “World of Pop! Volume 1”.

This artistic high-end coffee table book is a full color guide of each and every Funko Pop! released so far, including The Avengers, Elvis, Mickey Mouse, and LeBron James, with amazing photographs of Pop! vinyl figures in various settings and backgrounds. This amazing collection makes a great gift for fans of Funko and its popular line of Pop! vinyl figures. Funko’s World of Pop! Volume 1 hardcover hits books stores everywhere this September, but you can preorder this pretty lengthy book at Entertainment Earth for just $29.99 here.

SDCC 2011 Exclusive Freddy Pop! Funko Vinyl Figures

Thank god The Blot is not a completist because there is no way I could have get my hands on all of these San Diego Comic-Con 2011 exclusive Pop! Funko vinyl figures. If you’re not familiar with Freddy, he’s Funko’s official mascot and the star of Funko’s newest line of Pop! vinyl figures. What’s cool about this release is that every Pop! Funko figure is Freddy dressed up as a different character, including Superman, Flavor Flav, Count Chocula, Frankenberry, Freddy Krueger, The Ramones and Buzz Lightyear.

While every SDCC 2011 Exclusive Freddy Pop! Funko vinyl figure is limited edition, Funko also threw in some ultra rare chase figures for fans to hunt down! These include metallic variants and glow in the dark chases of most of the Freddy Pop! vinyl figures.

The Blot really doesn’t know very much about these Freddy Pop! Funko figures, but thanks to Gemini Collectibles we have all of the figures above. You can also purchase some of the Comic-Con exclusives seen here at Gemini Collectibles online store but be prepared to pay $60-225 per figure!
