Bottleneck Gallery and Justin Ishmael of ISH have teamed up with artist Rockin’ Jelly Bean to release this epic new Godzilla screen print, “Destroy All Monsters”!  BNG had this to say about this officially licensed poster: “We’ve summoned the ever-mysterious Rockin’ Jelly Bean from his home in Japan, and using his mighty powers he’s conjured up a massive monster brawl. Destroy All Monsters by Rockin’ Jelly Bean is a 34”x18” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 175 pieces and will retail for $75, while the Foil Variant is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $85. There is also a Multi-Layer Acrylic Print featuring a 3-layer acrylic panel with archival pigment ink. Today, Mondo will be releasing this grotesque and gorgeous movie poster for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by artist Rockin’ Jelly Bean! As Mondo explained, “we were terrified of what horrors became of Sally, her brother Franklin, and their intimate group of friends just up the highway from the small Texas town we grew up in. We’re ever thankful to Tobe Hooper for shocking the rest of the world with this nightmarish story in 1974, and to Rockin’ Jelly Bean for keeping the fear alive nearly 50 years later, in such beautiful style.”

The Regular Edition is limited to 270 pieces and will retail for $60, while the Variant is limited to 145 pieces and will retail for $80. If you follow Justin Ishmael on Instagram then you know he was in Japan last week to release an epic new Galligantus Collection by Rockin’Jelly Bean! Along with some insane vinyl figures, Ish also released this fantastic “Revenge of Galligantus” screen print by RJB. Officially licensed by Famous Monsters of Filmland, “Revenge of Galligantus” was released in three colorways: Regular Edition, Variant Edition and a super rare Foil Variant Edition.

Revenge of Galligantus by Rockin’Jelly Bean is a 381mm x 762mm hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 200 pieces and will retail for 9,000 yen, while the Variant is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for 10,000 yen. Who Framed Roger Rabbit by Rockin’ Jelly Bean is an 18”x36” hand numbered 12 color screen print. The Regular Edition was printed on French Speckle Tone paper, is limited to 240 pieces, and will retail for $90. DCon 2018 Exclusive God Bird Man Tiki Mug by Rockin Jelly Bean x Mondo

For the first time ever, Mondo will be setting up shop at Designer Con and bringing with them a ton of exciting exclusives. This includes this fantastic Designer Con 2018 Exclusive God Bird Man Tiki Mug by Rockin’ Jelly Bean! This Mondo exclusive edition is available in a red glaze with yellow highlights. The mug was designed by RJB and sculpted by Mad Sculptures Ware. It holds approximately 16oz and stands 7” tall. Limited to just 250, the first 100 pieces will be sold exclusively at Mondo’s DCon booth #2219 for $65. The remaining 150 pieces will be sold at the Mondo online store sometime in 2019.

One of the artists The Blot is looking forward to meeting the most at MondoCon 2 this weekend is Rockin’ Jelly Bean! I love the LA based (by way of Japan) artist’s retro surfer inspired low-brow art style. Plus any artist known for rocking a lucha libre mask has to be bad ass, right!?! Mondo has even tagged him with designing one of their official MondoCon 2015 exclusive prints! It is a movie poster for Jim Wynorski’s 1983 fantasy adventure film The Lost Empire, starring Melanie Vincz, Raven De La Croix, Angela Aames and Angus Scrimm. Even if you’re not familiar with the movie, you’ve got to love old school design for the screen print!
