Star Wars: Episode I, II & III Prequel Screen Print Set by Eric Tan x Bottleneck Gallery

Every story has a starting point, and later today Bottleneck Gallery will take us back to the start of a story that takes place a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away! The Blot can’t even tell you how excited I was to learn that Bottleneck Gallery has teamed up with one of my all time favorite artists, Eric Tan, to release a killer new movie poster screen print series based on the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy!!! Episode I, II and III have never looked so good.

Eric Tan’s take on The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith takes us back to everyone’s favorite parts of the Star Wars prequels: cool pod races, massively impressive clone armies clashing with Jedi knights, and the origin of Darth Vader. Each Star Wars Prequel Print measures 12”x36”, features a hand numbered edition of 250 pieces and will retail for $50. Collectors can also purchase a 3 print set with matching numbers for $140. Scarlet Witch Marvel Screen Prints by David Aja x Mondo

At a random tie today, Mondo is releasing two new Marvel screen print by acclaimed comic book artist David Aja featuring the mutant Avenger, Scarlet Witch! This is the first time for Mondo to be working with Aja. These two prints celebrate Aja’s amazing cover artwork for the current Marvel comic book series Scarlet Witch. David Aja has been killing it for years, and The Blot loves seeing these beautiful Scarlet Witch covers blown up as posters.

Each Scarlet Witch screen print by David Aja measures 18”x24” and comes hand numbered. Scarlet Witch #3 is limited to 125 pieces and will retail for $45, while Scarlet Witch #6 is limited to 125 pieces and will retail for $45. Both versions go on sale at a random time today, January 19th, at the Mondo online store.

Daredevil Marvel Screen Print by Greg Ruth x Mondo

At a random tie today, Mondo is releasing a killer new Marvel screen print by artist Greg Ruth featuring the Man Without Fear, Daredevil! This is the first time for Mondo to be working with Ruth and he definitely killed it! Interestingly enough, late last year Mondo came across this Daredevil artwork from Greg and they were completely blown away. It features Daredevil standing tall as a watchful protector over his city's seedy underbelly. They contacted Greg immediately and the rest is history!

Daredevil by Greg Ruth is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 275 pieces and will retail for $45, while the Variant Edition is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $65. Both versions go on sale at a random time today, January 19th, at the Mondo online store.

DC Comics Super Pets Series 5 Plush Figures by Art Baltazar

DC Comics has announced a fifth exciting wave of Super Pets plush figures based on the adorable artwork of Art Baltazar from the popular all-ages comic book series Super-Pets! This new wave of plush dolls actually features two characters from the Teen Titans Go! comic book: The Flash’s speedster turtle Whatzit and Starfire’s pet mutant moth larvae Silky (who comes with two plush hearts).

Each DC Comics Super Pets Series 5 Plush Figure stands approximately 10” tall, and can be pre-ordered now from Entertainment Earth for $13.99 here.

Batman: Black & White Statue by Norm Breyfogle x DC Comics

DC Collectibles has unveiled the newest release in its popular line of Batman: Black & White statues, and it will be based on the amazing structural style of Norm Breyfogle! The Blot grew up reading Breyfogle’s Batman comic books of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, and in many ways his take on the Dark Knight was my Batman. Besides Todd McFarlane, no one knows how to draw a cape like Norm Breyfogle! Under his art direction, Batman’s cape really had a life of its own. So it’s really cool to see how DC Collectibles was able to take Breyfogle’s iconic cover to Detective Comics issue #587 and transform it into this new Batman: Black and White statue.

The Batman: Black & White Statue by Norm Breyfogle was sculpted by Chris Dahlberg and is 1:10 scale (approximately 7.78” tall). Collectors can pre-order this awesome new DC Comics statue now at Entertainment Earth for $69.99 here.

The Prisoner Vicodin Edition Resin Figure by Luke Chueh x Munky King

After debuting at Designer Con 2016 late last year, Munky King officially released the first colorway of Luke Chueh’s newest resin figure, The Prisoner, online today! Based on Luke Chueh’s original painting, The Prisoner ponders captivity in its many forms—physical, mental, or in some cases, pharmaceutical. The Prisoner Vicodin Edition features a 1.5” white Bear in a Vicodin pill bottle. This awesome new figure is available at the Munky King online store now for $30 each.

Where the Wild Things Are Movie Poster Screen Print by Matt Taylor x Spoke Art

The Blot is pretty enamored with Matt Taylor’s new movie poster screen print for Spike Jonze’s film Where the Wild Things Are (based on Maurice Sendak’s iconic children’s book). I just love his use of black negative space with a sprinkling of light peeking through the brush. This wonderful poster was produced by Spoke Art and released in conjunction with a screening of the film at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco.

Where the Wild Things Are by Matt Taylor is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print with metallic gold ink. Limited to just 75 pieces, this is available now at the Spoke Art online store for $40. Collectors can also purchase signed AP copies of the poster directly from the artist at his online store here for £40.

Total Recall Movie Poster Screen Print by Tim Doyle x Spoke Art

The Blot was just commenting how shocked I am that we don’t see many Total Recall movie posters released anymore. Well, Spoke Art must have heard my complaints as they’ve teamed up with artist Tim Doyle to release this awesome Total Recall screen print! It was produced to commemorate the film’s screening on Friday the 13th at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco, an event hosted by Spoke Art and Midnites For Maniacs.

Total Recall by Tim Doyle is an 18”x24” signed and numbered five color screen print, which features a metallic ink split fountain and a metallic background! Limited to just 100 pieces, this print will go on sale at noon CST today (Tuesday, January 17th) at the Spoke Art online store for around $40.

2 New Batman Prints by Jock, Glen Brogan & Bottleneck Gallery

Later today Bottleneck Gallery will release not one, but two awesome officially licensed DC Comics prints by artists Jock and Glen Brogan! Jock’s print is a beautiful recreation of his cover for Detective Comics’ milestone issue #800. Jock’s work on Batman comic books over the years has been visually striking, unique, and kinetic, and this piece really highlights all of that and so much more. What a breathtaking image! “Detective Comics #800 Cover” by Jock is an 18”x24” fine art giclee, it has a limited edition run size of 100 pieces and will retail for $45.

Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Animated Universe Minimates Series 4 by Diamond Select Toys

Diamond Select Toys has announced it will be continuing its popular Walgreens exclusive line of Minimates mini figures based on the Marvel Animated Universe! With Series 3 hitting Walgreens locations nationwide this month, it’s exciting to learn Diamond Select Toys will be continuing the line with Minimates 2 Packs based on Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble.
