Suicide Squad MAFEX Action Figures Series 2 by Medicom

Medicom Toy continues its popular line of DC Comics Movie MAFEX action figures with a second wave of figures based on the hit film, Suicide Squad! Based on their appearances in the film, these super articulated Deadshot, Harley Quinn and The Joker figures stand 6” tall and include all kinds of character specific details and accessories, like alternate heads and tons of weapons.

This wave of Suicide Squad figures marks the first MAFEX release for Deadshot, and new versions of Harley Quinn (Gold Dress Edition) and The Joker (Tuxedo Edition). All three of these Suicide Squad MAFEX Action Figures can be pre-ordered now at Entertainment Earth for around $55 each here.

Suicide Squad 3.75” Action Figures by Funko

After making its debut in the Legion of Collectors July 2016 subscription box, Funko has finally announced its new line of Suicide Squad 3.75” action figures! This initial release of this new toy line includes “Inmate” Harley Quinn, “Shirtless” The Joker, “Underwater” Batman, Deadshot, Katana, Killer Croc and Enchantress. The first two figures in this series, Harley Quinn and The Joker (seen below), were only available as part of the Legion of Collectors’ Suicide Squad themed July 2016 subscription box.

DC Comics XXRAY Dissection Suicide Squad Series 4 Vinyl Figures by Jason Freeny & Mighty Jaxx

Mighty Jaxx has announced a fourth wave of DC Comics XXRAY Dissection vinyl figures by Jason Freeny, and it features three of the most diabolical members of the Suicide Squad! For this release, Freeny has taken three iconic Batman villains and dissected them as only this talented artist can. DC Comics XXRAY Dissection Suicide Squad Series 4 features Harley Quinn, Deadshot and Killer Croc!

What makes this release really special is that Harley and Deadshot are Mighty Jaxx’s very first XXRAY Deluxe figures! “Suicide Squad” DC Comics LEGO Sets

How awesome are these new Suicide Squad LEGO construction sets!?! Ok, technically these aren’t official Suicide Squad movie tie-in sets, because LEGO would never release kids toys with “Suicide” in the title. Nevertheless, these are clearly inspired by the film based on the DC Comics character mini figures included in its set. Why else would LEGO include Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang and Katana in the same release, and Deadshot/Harley Quinn in the other set? Outside of the Suicide Squad these characters would never be associated with each other. Suicide Squad Andre T-Shirt Collection by Crappy Kids

Every month Hawaii based indie clothing brand Crappy Kids launches a new timed edition, pop culture inspired t-shirt collection. For August 2016 they’ve released this epic Suicide Squad Capsule Collection, which features their adorable poop mascot Andre cosplaying as popular DC Comics villains Harley Quinn, The Joker and Deadshot! The Blot’s especially thrilled to see Crappy Kids went with each character’s more iconic comic book look as opposed to their newly redesigned costumes for the film. As a diehard Deadshot fan, The Blot has to get my hands on one of these fantastic “Crapshot Andre” tees.

Suicide Squad Cosbaby Vinyl Figure Series by Hot Toys

Hot Toys has just unveiled a freaking huge new toy line of Suicide Squad Cosbaby 3.75” vinyl figures. This is without a doubt the largest, most extensive series of Cosbaby mini figures based on just one film that Hot Toys has ever produced! To kick off this new DC Comics Cosbaby Series, check out the Suicide Squad Cosbaby Collectible Set 1, which features “Tuxedo” The Joker, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Katana, El Diablo, and The Joker’s henchman Eyeball Man. Except for this version of Harley Quinn, all of the other five figures seen above will only be available in this six piece set.

The Blot can only assume this is based on a scene in the film, possibly a flashback to when Harley first started her career as a villain with The Joker.

Hot Toys is also releasing a series of Suicide Squad Cosbaby figures that can be purchased individually, although some will only be available in select markets. These individually sold Suicide Squad Cosbaby mini figures include “Batman Imposter” The Joker, “Bloody Batman Imposter” The Joker, Harley Quinn, “Winking” Harley Quinn, “Purple Coat” The Joker, “Shirtless” The Joker and “Arkham Asylum” The Joker. It is a little frustrating that Hot Toys is only releasing two characters individually, Harley and Joker, as I’d love to get my hands on Deadshot and Boomerang Cosbaby figures without having to buy both 6 piece collectible sets.

Suicide Squad Final One Sheet Movie Poster

It is hard to believe it’s finally opening weekend of Suicide Squad! The Blot feels like I’ve been talking about and waiting for the release of this DC Comics film forever. I’m still excited to see it on Saturday, but the movie’s generally negative reviews are seriously bumming me out. I had high hopes that Suicide Squad would do for the DC movie universe what Guardians of the Galaxy and Deadpool did for the Marvel and X-Men movie universes respectively. I do freaking love this insane pop-tastic final theatrical one sheet movie poster for the film. Even if Suicide Squad the movie isn’t any good, Warner Bros did a great job marketing the film.

Suicide Squad Screen Print by Boneface x Mondo

Today Suicide Squad opens in theaters across the US, and to commemorate its opening weekend Mondo is releasing this pretty sweet Suicide Squad movie poster by Boneface. Based on the classic DC Comics series, Suicide Squad tells the story of a group of vile and despicable super villains, including the feature film debut of Harley Quinn, who are assembled as a ragtag team “to do some good.” Everything Mondo has seen of the film looks wildly raw, visceral and colorful, and they knew instantly that Boneface was the perfect choice for this project.

Suicide Squad by Boneface is a 36”x24” hand numbered screen print. Limited to 275 pieces, this print will retail for just $45. This DC Comics movie poster will go on sale at a random time today, Friday, August 5th, at the Mondo online store.

Warner Bros’ Suicide Squad film is almost here and The Blot can’t wait! Even the movie’s lukewarm reviews have not dampened my excitement. But it is a bummer to know so many well regarded movie critics found the film disappointing. I had such high hopes for the film and DC Comics/Warner Bros continue to let me down. How are they so inept at making a good super hero…er…super villain film!?! Suicide Squad Marshmallow Cereal One Sheet Movie Poster

Warner Bros’ insane pop colored marketing campaign for Suicide Squad continues with this sugary sweet cereal themed theatrical one sheet movie poster. The Blot’s trying really, really hard not to read any spoilers about this film, but I’m kinda dying to know what the heck this poster design has to do with the film. I just don’t see the connection between a team made up of the worst of the worst villains in the DC Comics universe with candy colored marshmallow cereal.

Suicide Squad “SKWAD” Print by Tracy Tubera

Opening weekend of Warner Bros’ Suicide Squad is finally here, and Tracy Tubera has dropped an epic print entitled “SKWAD” to commemorate the release of DC Comics’ newest live action film! The Blot loves all of the crazy, psychotic action Tracy crammed into this colorful print featuring some of the baddest villains in the DC universe. “SKWAD” includes Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang, Diablo and Katana, as well as the Clown Prince of Crime, The Joker, and The Dark Knight of Gotham City, Batman!

“SKWAD” by Tracy Tubera is an 11”x17” Suicide Squad print on archival watercolor paper. Each print comes signed, numbered and hand embossed with Tracy’s Double T logo. “SKWAD” has been released in two editions, Full Color ($35) and Black and White ($30), with each edition limited to just 50 pieces. The Blot has been reading Suicide Squad comics for over 25 years now, and I am beyond excited to see many of my favorite DC Comics villains get their time to shine on the big screen this summer. I’m not sure the movie will be good, but I’ve got high hopes!

Check Out This Trippy New Suicide Squad Character Movie Poster Set

This new set of Suicide Squad character movie posters is one of the trippiest set of one sheets The Blot has ever seen! I’m really not sure what Warner Bros is trying to do here. It’s way too colorful and pop-y for such a dark team of evil super villains. Then again, it kind fits with the oft-kilter zaniness and craziness of DC Comics’ Harley Quinn.
