Jack Bronze Sculpture by Luke Chueh & Fully Visual

Luke Chueh & Fully Visual Jack Bronze Sculpture

On Wednesday Luke Chueh celebrated his birthday be releasing a really cool bronze sculpture entitled Jack (produced by the fine folks of Fully Visual). Happy Birthday Luke! This very limited sculpture is cast bronze with petina and includes a letter of authenticity plus ink on paper drawing of Jack by Luke. This new wall-mounted taxidermy style piece should immediately remind collectors of “Jacked”, Luke’s beloved painting of a rogue rabbit who has unceremoniously removed (or “jacked”) an antelope’s antlers in order to transform himself into a Jackalope! A clever take on the original painting, the new sculpture offers an abrupt and perhaps karmic conclusion to the saga.

Luke Chueh x Fully Visual Jack bronze sculpture has a limited edition run size of 10 pieces, measures 9”x8”x5”, and retails for $1,200 each. Pick one up today from Fully Visual’s online store.

Fully Visual x Huck Gee Life Size Stainless Steel Skullhead

The Blot thought Fully Visual and Huck Gee couldn’t possibly improve upon their previously released life sized Skullhead bronze sculpture, but they actually have! The Fully Visual x Huck Gee Stainless Steel Skullhead looks even cooler than its bronze counterpart, and would make an excellent addition to any hard core Huck Gee fan’s collection.

Tipping the scales at 40 lbs with a marble base, it's practically life size! I would kill just to see this amazing piece in person.

Fully Visual x Huck Gee Skullhead #1

Huck Gee and Fully Visual have joined forces again to collaborate on an all new metal project. This time around, Fully Visual will be producing Huck’s classic Skullhead in four metal editions: gold, antique silver, antique copper and antique brass. If you want the gold antiqued, Fully Visual will even antique it for you (all you have to do is let them know when order).

Fully Visual x Huck Gee Skullhead #1 Metal Figure - Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Gold, and Antique Copper Colorways
For comparison sake, these cool looking Skullhead paperweights are about three times larger than the first Skullhead metal figure from Fully Visual. Each figure is almost a full pound of metal, and is the size of an actual baseball (see below)! All four colorways of the Fully Visual x Huck Gee Skullhead #1 metal figure have a limited edition run size of 25 figures, and each figure will retail for $130.

Fully Visual x Huck Gee Skullhead #1
The Fully Visual x Huck Gee Skullhead #1 metal figures drop today, Tuesday, September 29th, at 11am PDT. You can purchase them here at the Fully Visual online store.

MAD x Fully Visual Mini Metal Mad*ls

Since it looks like MAD’s long rumored 3” Mad*l Vinyl Mini Figure Series won’t be happening, we are apparently getting the next best thing…3” Mini Metal Mad*ls from Fully Visual! I’m not 100% sure the size of these metal Mad*ls, they could be anywhere from 2-4 inches in height, but they look pretty cool so far!

MAD x Fully Visual Mini Metal Mad*ls
When I first heard MAD was doing a collaboration with Fully Visual earlier this year, the first thing that popped into my head was metal Mad*ls. Instead we got the metal Modern Hero figures, which are great in their own right, but I was still holding out hope we would one day see metal versions of one of my favorite vinyl platforms. Thankfully, MAD and Fully Visual saw the same potential in metal Mad*ls as The Blot did and made these killer figures a reality.

MAD x Fully Visual Mini Metal Mad*l Teaser Image
More details should be coming soon on these MAD x Fully Visual mini metal Mad*ls, but we do know they will be coming in five unique colors: Silver Antique, Gold, Black Nickel, Copper and Brass. Normally Black Nickel is my favorite Fully Visual colorway, but I can’t seem to decide which metal figure I want to add to my Mad*l collection. I’m leaning towards a Silver Antique or Copper Mad*l, but it also depends on the rarity of each colorway and the price. More details to come once they are announced.

Fully Visual - Modern Hero Metal Cast Figure by MAD

One of The Blot’s all time favorite characters in the world of designer vinyl is MAD’s Modern Hero. He’s popped up in a few different forms over the years (Dunny, TV Head, SAM, Sharpest Sprayer, Headphonies) and now we can add another one to the list. Fully Visual is releasing a bust like metal cast figure of MAD’s Modern Hero.

Fully Visual - Modern Hero Metal Cast Figure by MAD
The 3.5”x2.25” Modern Hero metal cast figure was released last week, but don’t worry. It is still available here at the Fully Visual online store for $99 each. As with most Fully Visual metal cast figures, Modern Hero comes blind boxed and is limited to a run of just 100 figures (99 silver editions and 1 hidden gold chase edition).

Vampire Edition Pink Elephant with Drunky McSkunky by Amanda Visell

The Blot mentioned his love for Amanda Visell’s Pink Elephant vinyl figure last month, so you know I was excited to learn about this spooky new colorway being released just in time for Halloween. The Vampire Edition Pink Elephant with Drunky McSkunky is a Munky King exclusive, which ships on November 3rd. The 6 inch figure is currently available for pre-sale here for $70.00. If you are a Visell fan like The Blot don’t sleep on this very cool Pink Elephant colorway because there are only 400 available and are sure to sell very soon.

Also releasing this month from Ms. Visell is a metal Pink Elephant belt buckle from Switcheroo and Fully Visual. Each belt buckle is $65 and even has a bottle opener on the inside! So not only is the Pink Elephant belt buckle stylish, it’s also practical! The buckle is not yet available, but when it is the first 5o orders come with a signed print. No release date or run number for the Pink Elephant belt buckle has been released yet, so keep your eyes on the Fully Visual online store for additional details.

Huck Gee - Limited Edition Bootleg #6 Figure

Today, Friday October 10, 2008 at 12 PDT sees the next limited edition release in Huck’s Bootleg series. Strangely enough he is skipping from Bootleg #2 all the way to Bootleg #6. What does all this mean? Who knows, as we won’t find out what figure is in the mysterious Bootleg #6 box until UPS drops it on someone’s doorstep.

Huck Gee - Bootleg #6 Package
The Blot’s guess is that it is a clear resin version of Huck’s Skullhead #6 metal figure paperweight, which he released through Fully Visual earlier this year. That is the only reasonable explanation I can come up with for the jump in Bootleg numbers from number 2 to 6. Plus it just makes since with the corresponding number 6s.

Huck Gee - Skullhead #6 Metal Figure
There will only be 25 Bootleg #6 figures made and each package comes signed, numbered and stenciled. Each figure is $100 and limited to one per customer. If you’re interested in the Bootleg #6 figure get ready because you only have a few hours until the little guy goes on sale! As always you can purchase this custom Bootleg figure exclusively at Huck Gee’s eBay store.

Huck Gee Day at VinylPulse

Huck Gee - TheToyMafia.comYesterday was the birthday of one of my favorite artists, Huck Gee (happy birthday Huck!). In honor of the big day, VinylPulse.com turned over the keys to their kingdom to Huck so he could unveil some new products that would be going on sale this week.

The first item is a Skullhead paperweight entitled #6 released by Fully Visual. Only 100 of these metal figures were created, “99 silver-plated pieces and one gold-plated chase,” and will be sold for $120. (link) “Each numbered figure is sealed in an aluminum can and measures 2.5” tall and 3” wide," but unfortunetly anyone just hearing about these figures for the very first time here on The Blot Says... has already missed out on the opportunity to purchase one. (link) The Huck Gee #6 Skullhead paperweight went on sale yesterday at 1 pm pacific and sold out immediately.

The next item Huck unveiled yesterday was a set of 10 custom hand-painted 8” Negative Skullhead Dunnys. The Negative Colorway basically means he took his original Skullhead Dunny design and swapped the color scheme, so everything that was black is now white and everything that was white is now black. Huck admits he took the easy way out in creating this new Dunny design, but thinks “the negative colorway [is] better than the original.” (link) The Negative Colorway 8 inch Skullhead Dunny set is priced at $600 each and goes on sale this Friday, May 23, 2008 at Noon PDT at Huck Gee’s ebay store.

And last, but not least, is Huck’s “very limited mystery ‘bootleg’ toy” #2, which also goes on sale this Friday, May 23, 2008 at Noon PDT at Huck Gee’s ebay store. (link) This is the second time Huck has done a bootleg toy, in which he sells the set in a blind box before ever unveiling what the figure inside looks like. The mystery figure is limited to 25 pieces and is being sold for the much more reasonable price of $100 each. Once the figure is sold out, Huck will reveal to the world the mystery bootleg figure.
