After debuting at Thailand Toy Expo earlier this year, Kronk’s “Mutant A” Bad Ass vinyl figure is finally seeing a wider release! Produced by Pobber Toys, the Mutant A Edition Bad Ass features a really nice mutated color scheme of off-white, light blue, purple, yellow and pink. For some odd reason this colorway really reminds The Blot of ice cream. What do you think? 

Mutant A stands 9” tall, features 7 points of articulation, and comes complete with spikes, rivets, sharp teeth and even a few battle scars. Limited to just 50 pieces, only 25 of this Bad Ass colorway will be hitting designer toy stores worldwide soon where they will retail for $95.

“Bad Ass” Screen Print by Kronk

For Pobber's very first print release they’ve teamed up with popular South African artist Kronk to produce a beautiful print featuring his epic Bad Ass vinyl figure! Last weekend they unleashed this stripped down, 4 color screen print designed to show off the “badass-ness” of Kronk’s giant mecha ape known as Bad Ass. For this design, Kronk “looked at classic King Kong and sci-fi posters for inspiration, especially those that show destruction.” The result is a striking image that will make an excellent addition to any art collector’s walls!

“Bad Ass” by Kronk is an 18”x24” screen print on 140lb French Fine Art Paper. Limited to just 50 pieces, this print is currently available for purchase at the Pobber online store for $70 each.

Madam Mayhem 8” Dunny by Kronk

Check out Kidrobot’s newest production Dunny, Madam Mayhem by Kronk. This wickedly fun 8” Dunny is costumed in an ornate feather headdress, pasties, and little else. With bright eyes and painted skin, she beckons as only a Kronk sorceress can. The most interesting aspect of this design is its backstory. According to Kidrobot’s Galen McKamy, Kronk was originally scheduled to be in the Mardivale Series with Scribe and Andrew Bell, and this design was created to be part of that series. I guess that explains the theme behind Madam Mayhem!

Pobber Artist Series T-Shirt Collection feat Kronk, Doktor A, Gary Ham & Pause

Pobber has unveiled its very first Artist Series T-Shirt Collection featuring designs by Kronk, Doktor A, Gary Ham and Pause! All four designs are pretty awesome and you definitely won’t want to miss your opportunity to pre-order these limited edition tees. First up is the Hallween themed “A Mechtorian Halloween” t-shirt by Doktor A featuring one of Dok A’s steampunk Mechtorian creations. Then there’s “Rampage” by Kronk featuring Kronk’s newest vinyl figure Bad Ass!

Kronk’s massive Bad Ass vinyl figure is making a return trip to the great state of California, this time as a super limited Designer Con 2013 exclusive! Produced by Pobber Toys, the DCon 2013 Exclusive Mutant B Edition Bad Ass features a striking black, green and purple color scheme reminiscent of a certain gamma irradiated jolly green giant. Dunny Evolved Series by Kidrobot

Dunny is, was, and always will be. Later this week Kidrobot will be releasing its newest blind box Dunny Series with an interesting twist. The Dunny Evolved Series includes just five artists, with each artist designing three Dunnys. Each artist’s three figures feature the three stages of its design’s evolution. I love the concept behind this new series and its line-up of artists is pretty freaking solid.  I just wish it had more artists and designs in it. Feels like a really small Dunny series to collect. Here’s hoping there are some mystery chase variants mixed in.

If you thought the new Stealth Edition Bad Ass vinyl figure by Kronk and Pobber Toys was, well, bad ass, wait til you see its mystery chase variant! Pobber just unveiled the Stealth Edition’s super rare 1/6 chase entitled the Toxic Variant! Man, does this figure look good or what!?! For this hard to find variant, Bad Ass took a radiation filled vacation and came back sporting and black, white and toxic green new color scheme.

This 9 inch vinyl ape reeks of badass, features 7 points of articulation and comes complete with spikes, rivets, sharp teeth and battle scars to prove it. Because the Stealth Edition Bad Ass by Kronk was limited to just 360 pieces, it means there were only 60 of these Toxic Variants produced! SDCC 13 Exclusive “Forest” Bad Ass Vinyl Figure by Kronk & Pobber Toys

After a week of teasing its release, Pobber Toys’ has finally unveiled its newest figure: Bad Ass by Kronk! This bad ass monkey stands a menacing 9” tall and will be making its world debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2013. The Blot really loves how this mecha-ape turned out, especially all of its rivets and the turnkey in its back. Its first colorway is entitled “Forest” and includes a really nice orange and green color scheme. Limited to just 40 sets, the San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive Forest Bad Ass by Kronk will retail for $95 at the DKE Toys SDCC booth #5054.

Kronk x Pobber Big Ass Toy Teaser #1

Over the past week Pobber Toys has been teasing something super exciting, an upcoming collaboration with Kronk! While not much is known about this “Bad Ass Toy”, The Blot can tell you one thing…it is epic! But don’t just take my word for it, check out the first teaser image of the figure below. The Blot got a little sneak peek and I can tell you this is one vinyl figure you won’t want to miss out on (especially all the Kronk fans out there).

To commemorate this epic collaboration between Kronk and Pobber, the designer toy company is holding a #BADASSTOY Challenge on Facebook. For every 30 new fans of the Pobber Facebook page a new photo of Bad Ass will be uploaded. The challenge will end when the figure’s sixth and final photo is unveiled!

Dweezil Dragon Vinyl Figure by Kronk

The Blot’s not sure when it happened, but Kidrobot is definitely in the Kronk business! The South African artist has put out some amazing releases these past few years, but Kronk’s newest creation may be his best yet! Meet Dweezil Dragon, Kronk’s third original sculpt produced by Kidrobot. Not only is this figure huge, but it’s crazy detailed with some wild accessories. My only question is with a $350 price tag how quickly will these bad boys fly off the shelf?

Kronk’s newest masterpiece is a rockin’, top hat sportin’, heart boxer wearin’, hookah smokin’, 15 inch vinyl Dragon named Dweezil. Caught midstride stepping straight out of Kronk’s imagination, Dweezil has both attitude and grace in 3D form. He commands attention, demands respect, and kicks ass.
