SDCC 2019 Exclusive Marvel’s The Avengers Movies Giclee Print Series by 100% Soft x Grey Matter Art

100% Soft has teamed up with Grey Matter Art to release four officially licensed limited edition giclée prints commemorating each Avengers movie: The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.

Each The Avengers movie poster by 100% Soft is an 18”x24” signed and numbered fine art giclee print limited to just 150 pieces. A different print will be released each day at 100% Soft’s SDCC booth #1532. The release schedule is: Wednesday, July 17th - The Avengers; Thursday, July 18th - Age of Ultron; Friday, July 19th - Infinity War; and Saturday, July 20th – Endgame.

NYCC 2018 Exclusive The Avengers Movie Screen Print by Matt Ferguson x Grey Matter Art x Marvel

Yesterday, Grey Matter Art announced a second batch of New York Comic Con 2018 exclusive prints, including this epic, officially licensed The Avengers movie poster by Matt Ferguson! This is the iconic silhouetted image that put Ferguson on many people’s radars, and launched his career as one of the signature artists of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So how do you not want to get your hands on this fantastic print?

The Avengers by Matt Ferguson is a 50cm x 70cm hand numbered screen print. Limited to 275 pieces, this Marvel poster can be purchased at the Grey Matter Art NYCC booth #3064 for $50.

The Avengers Movie Poster Screen Print by Marko Manev x Grey Matter Art x Marvel

It’s been almost a year since their last collaboration, but this week Grey Matter Art will finally be releasing a new poster in their popular Marko Manev Marvel Movie Poster Screen Print Series! Check out this insane The Avengers movie poster by Manev. This officially licensed print, based on the epic 2012 Joss Whedon directed film, looks absolutely fantastic. And The Blot loves that Marko placed the focus of his design on the film’s real breakout star, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki! The Avengers by Marko Manev is a 24” x 36” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $45, while the Variant is limited to just 50 pieces and will retail for $50. Both versions will go on sale at 1pm EST this Wednesday, April 4th, at the Grey Matter Art online store.

Iron Man Mark VII 1000% Be@rbrick by Medicom

To coincide with the release of Iron Man 3 next May, Medicom is releasing an Iron Man Mark VII 1000% Be@rbrick! Yes, you read that right...1,000%! That means it’s a 27.5” Be@rbrick of Iron Man featuring his Mark VII armor from the hit motion picture Marvel’s The Avengers. I may be wrong, but this is the first super hero 1000% Be@brick I can remember Medicom ever producing. Maybe there was a Batman or Spider-Man released at some point, but nevertheless it’s pretty damn rare. This just goes to show how far Iron Man has come has a character since Marvel went on their tear of live action summer blockbusters.

The Marvel x Medicom Iron Man Mark VII 1000% Be@rbrick is scheduled to hit store shelves sometime in April 2013 and will retail for around $350 each.

Battle Damaged The Avengers Movie 100% Be@rbrick Set

When The Blot heard Medicom was releasing a new The Avengers Movie 100% Be@rbrick 4 Pack I got really excited! Then I found out it’s just a “Battle Damaged” repaint of their previously released The Avengers Be@rbrick Set. What a letdown! I was hoping for a true repaint of one or two of the previously released characters packaged with Be@rbricks of either Loki, Maria Hill or Phil Coulson. It’s a nice looking set, but does anyone need both this and the original release?

The Marvel x Medicom Battle Damaged The Avengers Movie 100% Be@rbrick Set includes roughed up versions of Iron Man (in his Mark VI armor), Captain America, Thor and the Incredible Hulk. This 4 piece set is scheduled to go on sale December 19, 2012 in Japan, and will make its way to the United States shortly thereafter.

Captain America The Avengers 400% Be@rbrick by Medicom

The Avengers movie may have come out 6 months ago, but that won’t stop Medicom from producing even more Avengers Be@rbricks and Kubricks! Medicom’s latest The Avengers release is this killer Captain America 400% Be@rbrick featuring the character’s look from the live action movie. The Blot’s more of a traditionalist, so this movie toy isn’t screaming "buy me", but if Medicom ever releases a comic book accurate Captain America 400% Be@rbrick I’d be all over it!

The Captain America The Avengers 400% Be@rbrick by Medicom is scheduled to hit store shelves in April 2013 and will retail for around $85-100.

SDCC 2012 Exclusive Marvel Movie Pop! Metallic Vinyl Figures - Spider-Man & Loki

Two of The Blot’s favorite San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusives from Funko this year were their Marvel Movie Pop! Metallic Vinyl Figures! For SDCC, they released a metallic Spidey sporting his costume from the hit movie The Amazing Spider-Man, and a metallic Loki from The Avengers. I know lots of Funko collectors were excited about this latter release because the standard Loki (from Marvel’s Thor) has quickly become one of the hardest Pop! figures to find.

Each SDCC 2012 Exclusive Marvel Movie Pop! Metallic Vinyl Figure features one point of articulation, stands 3.75” tall and comes packaged in a full color displayable window box packaging.

Nick Fury, Hawkeye & Black Widow The Avengers Movie 100% Be@rbricks

A few weeks ago when Medicom announced its Marvel’s The Avengers Movie 100% Be@rbrick 4 pack The Blot was pretty bummed because we weren’t getting Be@rbricks of Nick Fury, Hawkeye or the Black Widow. Thankfully Medicom heard my complaints and is now putting out Nick Fury, Hawkeye and Black Widow 100% Be@rbrick!

All three will be sold individually, but to get Black Widow you also have to buy an Avengers t-shirt. To me this seems a little backwards, since I’d image it would be a lot easier to sell Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and Hulk individually than Fury, Hawkeye or Black Widow. Wouldn’t it have been smarter to release a 4 pack with say Cap and these three? Regardless, I’m just glad collectors will be able to complete their Avengers movie roster.

New Avengers Movie Prints by Tracy Tubera

One of the greatest byproducts of Marvel’s unbelievable movie success is all of the killer art inspired by the films. A perfect example of this is this awesome new Avengers print series by California artist Tracy Tubera! Tracy is a huge comic book fan and made this five piece series based on the movie version of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk. I really love Tubera’s unique art style, which translates exceptionally well to these iconic super heroes.

The team print is entitled “Assemble” and features the movie Avengers’ four main members. “Assemble” is a hand signed and numbered 13”x19” print on archival watercolor paper, has a limited edition run size of just 25 pieces, and retails for $40. Along with the team pieces, Tracy also created a print for each individual member of The Avengers: Captain America “America F* Yeah!,” Iron Man “Invincible,” Thor “Mighty,” and the Hulk “Smash.”

Each individual Avengers member print is a hand signed and numbered 8.5”x11” print on archival watercolor paper, has a limited edition run size of 25 pieces and retails for just $20. All five prints also come hand embossed with Tracy’s Double T logo and can be purchased exclusively at his online store while supplies last!

The Avengers Atama Collection by Loyal K.N.G.

Two of the last three weekends The Blot’s gotten to hang out with the Loyal K.N.G. crew at different events in Houston. I always love checking out their new releases in person, but this time they had a little something extra. You see, this summer they released a very secret series of Marvel themed Atama t-shirts in honor of the summer's biggest blockbuster The Avengers! And seriously, what’s better than a tee featuring the Loyal K.N.G. mascot Atama dressed up as Marvel’s most popular super heroes!?!

The Avengers Atama Collection by Loyal K.N.G. includes Atama dressed as Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk and Wolverine. Each design is available in two different colored t-shirts and can be yours for just $20. All of these designs are pretty sweet, but here’s the catch…this unannounced release can’t be purchased online!

The only way to get your hands on these Avengers Atama designs is by attending an event where Loyal K.N.G. has set up shop. This hard working crew is constantly crisscrossing Texas, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled to their website to find out when they’ll be in your town soon.

Iron Man Mark VII 100% & 400% Avengers Be@rbricks

Released in conjunction with Marvel’s The Avengers, Medicom has produced both a 100% and a 400% Be@rbrick of Tony Stark in his Iron Man Mark VII armor from the film! I don’t know what it is about the Iron Man armor, but it looks freaking sweet on pretty much every toy platform. Each figure is sold separately, and should be hitting stores any day now (they have a release date of late July). I’m not sure if this is correct, but it looks like the Iron Man Mark VII 100% Be@rbrick even features metallic paints! I really hope that’s true because it definitely amps up the cool factor.

Marvel x Medicom The Avengers Movie 100% Be@rbrick 4 Pack

To commemorate Marvel’s hit movie The Avengers, Medicom has released a killer The Avengers Movie 100% Be@rbrick Box Set, which includes the film’s four big stars: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk. Interestingly enough, this set includes the Iron Man Mark VI armor, which The Blot believes is the only place you can get this particular version of the IM armor as a 100% Be@rbrick.

The Avengers Movie 100% Be@rbrick 4 Pack goes on sale August 17th in Japan, and is expected to make its way to the United States shortly thereafter.

SDCC 12 Exclusive Marvel Universe The Avengers Helicarrier by Hasbro

Hasbro is releasing a super-sized Helicarrier at San Diego Comic-Con this summer as a tie-in to hit film The Avengers! Made for Hasbro’s popular line of 3.75” Marvel Universe action figures, this SDCC exclusive will measure over 4 feet long (basically the size of an ironing board) and will feature brand new Joe Quesada artwork on its packaging. This super-sized Helicarrier will also include two special edition Marvel Universe action figures: a brand new version of Captain America and a SHIELD Agent Maria Hill! While The Blot can do without a 4’ vehicle, I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a Cobie Smulders action figure.

For those of you not attending San Diego Comic-Con this year, don’t worry. Hasbro will be releasing a standard edition version of the SHIELD Helicarrier in stores soon! But, if really want this over foot longer version, then head over to Hasbro’s SDCC booth #3329 where you can pick one up for $129.99.

The Avengers Print by kaNO

All last week The Blot was fervently following kaNO’s Facebook page as he was unveiling a series of four 8”x8” acrylic and wheatpaste paintings of the Avengers! Inspired by Marvel's hit summer blockbuster The Avengers, each painting features one member of the team: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk. What’s really great about these pieces is how kaNO painted each hero on top of actual comic book pages featuring that specific character. These turned out fantastic, and The Blot would absolutely kill to get my hands on this set of paintings (or even just the Captain America piece).

Because of the amazing response kaNO has received to this series of paintings, he has decided to release "The Avengers" as one killer 20”x20” giclee on archival paper. The Avengers print by kaNO will have a limited edition run size of 20 pieces and can be purchased exclusive from the kaNO Kid online store sometime soon for $45 each.

The Avengers Cupcake & Crossbones Pin Set by Johnny Cupcakes

Every year Johnny Cupcakes releases some awesome unofficial tie-ins with the biggest blockbusters of the summer, and 2012 is no different. These parodies/tributes are the sort of pop culture paraphernalia The Blot eats up! From Batman and Wolverine to Harry Potter, The Blot is always anxious each May, June and July to see what Team Johnny Cupcakes has come up with. While the summer movie season of 2012 just started, we already saw the release of this amazing The Avengers Crossbones four pin set!

The minute Johnny teased these pins on Instagram I knew I had to have them. I was really hoping we’d see a t-shirt featuring one, or all four, of these fun Avengers Crossbones designs on a t-shirt, but beggars can’t be choosers! When these dropped two Fridays ago, like an idiot I thought oh I’ll just pick them up later this weekend when I get the chance. Just my luck, these sold out in no time and are already selling on eBay for around $40 a set! That’s quite the markup from their $4.99 retail price. I guess that’s what the largest opening weekend in movie history will do.

But don’t worry about The Blot…thankfully my Johnny Cupcakes guardian angel was looking out for me. A huge thanks goes out a certain someone, you know who you are! More pics when they arrive!

The Avengers Screen Print Series by Rhys Cooper

Rhys Cooper created this amazing The Avengers four print series as part of last weekend’s “Assemble” group art show at Gallery 1988. My jaw seriously hit the ground when I first saw these posters of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the Black Widow last week. These banner sized prints turned out great (I love the SHIELD logo backgrounds); I just wish he had created a print for each member of the team. Where are my Hawkeye and Hulk screen prints!?! I guess four out of six ain’t bad…

Sold individually, all four hand numbered The Avengers screen prints by Rhys Cooper were available for purchase at the Gallery 1988 online store for $40 each (Captain America and Iron Man have since sold out). Each print measures 18”x24” and has a limited edition run size of 175 pieces. However, only 125 of each print were sold at G1988. I assume this means Rhys will eventually be selling the remaining prints as full 4 print sets on his online store.
