NYCC 13 Exclusive Mono Edition Bear Champ Resin Figure by JC Rivera

The second colorway of JC Rivera’s exciting new Bear Champ 8” resin figure has been unveiled, and it’s being released exclusively at New York Comic Con 2013! Produced by Pobber Toys, the Mono Edition Bear Champ features a grayscale color scheme and is limited to just 50 pieces. NYCC 13 Exclusive Transformers Screen Prints by Tim Doyle

Acid Free Gallery is releasing 10 amazing, officially licensed screen prints exclusively at New York Comic Con 2013! First up is this awesome pair of Transformers prints by Tim Doyle, one featuring a boat load of Autobots while the other features more Decepticons than you can shake a stick at. Combined these two prints look like a serious battle is about to break out! The Blot loves Doyle’s work, and I love images like this that are just filled to the brim with characters, many of which you probably won’t see again in a Transformers screen print.

“Autobots” by Tim Doyle is an 18”x24” 5 color numbered screen print. The Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 125 pieces and will retail for $50 each, while the Holofoil Variant is limited to 55 pieces and will retail for $65.

NYCC 13 Exclusive Neopolitan Hermees Plush by Gary Ham & Lana Crooks

Following its debut at SDCC 2013, Gary Ham and Lana Crooks have cooked up an all new colorway of their adorable Hermees plush figure exclusively for New York Comic Con 2013! Based on Gary’s original wood and vinyl Hermees vinyl figures, these fleece and wool “Neopolitan” Hermees plush figures are handmade by Lana, feature a fun brown and pink color scheme, and stand 14" tall with a 17" wingspan.

Limited to just 5 pieces, the New York Comic Con 2013 Exclusive Neopolitan Hermees plush by Gary Ham and Lana Crooks includes an etched numbered wooden tag that has been signed by both artists and retails for $200 each. Fans can pick one up at the Clutter NYCC booth #504 Saturday, October 12th, at noon to coincide with an hour long signing by Ham and Crooks.

First Look: Modern Hero “Phase 4” Mad*l 5” Vinyl Figure by MAD

The Blot can’t even explain how excited I am that MAD is finally releasing a production Modern Hero 5” Mad’l! MAD’s Modern Hero character and the Mad’l platform are a huge part of my personal designer art toy collection. I’ve been collecting both since pretty much the first day I was introduced to this crazy little corner of the art world. So for a production Modern Hero Mad’l to finally see the light of day is a pretty big deal! I consider it a personal grail that I can’t wait to add to my collection.

After a much too long hiatus, MAD’s popular 5” Mad*l vinyl figure returns with a fourth wave of three designs entitled Phase 4. The Modern Hero is the 2nd design in this exciting new Mad’l wave, with the previously seen rainbow monster MaeMaeMon the wave’s 1st design. What could be next!??!

Panda Edition Bear Champ Resin Figure by JC Rivera

JC Rivera and Pobber Toys have teamed up to produce an exciting new figure that The Blot can’t wait to see in person! JC has released his popular Bear Champ character in a number of different platforms over the years, but this resilient bear is finally getting his own product toy! This exciting new figure’s first colorway is the Panda Champ Edition, which is limited to just 50 pieces and sold exclusively at the MSX Toy Gallery.

Seemingly lazy and always hungry, Panda Champ lives alone in the bamboo forest high in the mountains of China. He spends most of his time roaming and feeding in the cool forests of his habitat with little time to spend on boxing. Though chunky in appearance and lumbering in his movements, this 9” rotocasted resin Panda is a boxing champion and comes with red gloves and a gold crown proudly worn on his head. Featuring 2 points of articulation, this white and black figure can be purchased from the MSX Toy Gallery online store for just $85.

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” Screen Print by Dave Perillo

It’s October, which means it’s time for Dark Hall Mansion’s annual “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” Halloween screen print! This year DHM has teamed up with artist Dave Perillo, who brings his distinct style to bear with a multi-panel approach that captures many scenes from the beloved 1966 Schulz classic made for TV animated movie.

Both It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown screen prints by Dave Perillo go on sale at the Dark Hall Mansion online store today, Tuesday, October 1st, between 9:30am and 11:30am PST. Each print measures 12"x36", and comes hand numbered. The Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 280 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Variant Edition has a limited edition run size of 50 pieces and will retail for $100. DHM is also producing 10 Maple Wood Variants of each print that will retail for $250.
