“Fresh” The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Print by Tracy Tubera

Long before Will Smith was a huge movie star and household name, Big Willie was The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air! Those of us who grew up in the ‘90s knew Smith well from his time with DJ Jazzy Jeff and his hit ½ hour comedy on NBC. If, like The Blot, you can still sing the theme song to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air word for word, then you’ll really love this new Will Smith x Nike inspired “Fresh” print by Tracy Tubera!

This sneaker inspired print features Will Smith sporting the dope Air Jordan V “BEL AIR” sneakers, which is a pretty perfect mash-up. “Fresh” by Tracy Tubera is a 8.5”x11” signed, numbered and hand embossed print and is limited to just 50 pieces. Originally dropped at Designer Con 2013, the remaining “Fresh” prints are now available for purchase through Tubera’s online store for $25 each!

DC Comics Earth 2 New 52 Action Figures

While the shine has definitely worn off DC Comics’ New 52 soft reboot, DC Collectibles super detailed line of New 52 action figures continues to kill! The Blot especially loves that DC Collectibles has decided to release waves figures based on specific comic books. It also helps that the comic book these figures are based on, Earth 2, is really good! The DC Comics Earth 2 New 52 toy line includes action figures of Earth 2’s Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (Alan Scott), and The Flash (Jay Garrick). The toy line will also include the so far unannounced Earth 2 Hawkgirl (see below)!

The DC Comics Earth 2 New 52 toy line is based on the art of Nicola Scott, and features four heroes who are familiar yet somehow different. All five figures stand 6.75” tall, feature a ton of articulation, and will hit store shelves in June 2014. You can pre-order all three figures now from Entertainment Earth for $22.99 each here.

Imperial Fashion Victim Bootleg Star Wars Resin Figures by Kris Dulfer

Kris Dulfer recently released these awesome bootleg Star Wars resin figures entitled Imperial Fashion Victims. “Temple: 1984” Indiana Jones Screen Print by Dave Perillo

Later today Dark Ink Art and Acme Archives will release the second print in its new Indiana Jones Screen Print Series by Dave Perillo! Following “Raiders: 1981” comes “Temple: 1984” based on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Once again Perillo does a fantastic job utilizing his multi-panel approach to summarize an iconic film. The Blot just wants to know if this series will end after three prints or will everyone be forced to acknowledge the existence of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull!?!

“Temple: 1984” by Dave Perillo is a 12”x36” Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom screen print sold exclusively at Dark Ink’s online store for $50 today, Monday, December 16th, at around 10:30am PDT. This adorable Indiana Jones print has a limited edition run size of 250 pieces and comes signed and numbered by the artist.

Johnny Cupcakes “Frosty Crossbones” T-Shirt

Earlier this week Johnny Cupcakes released a new batch of holiday themed t-shirts, including this festive “Frosty Crossbones” design. Perfect for the chilly winter all of the US is already experiencing, “Frosty Crossbones” takes Johnny Cupcakes’ iconic logo and transforms it into Frosty the Snowman! While The Blot loves a good Big Kid mash-up, my favorite Johnny Cupcakes designs have always been these pop culture inspired Cupcake and Crossbones designs. What can I say, I’m a sucker for the original JC tee.

CHEW Comic Book T-Shirts by Rob Guillory

Check out these awesome CHEW comic book t-shirts designed by CHEW co-creator and artist Rob Guillory! While CHEW, one of The Blot’s favorite Image comic book series, has had official t-shirts for a while, now that they’re being distributed by Graphitti Designs it means fans worldwide will have greater access to them through comic book and specialty stores worldwide. There are currently two t-shirt designs available: “Chog”, featuring everyone’s favorite frog/chicken hybrid, and “Reservoir Chogs”, a spoof of Reservoir Dogs featuring four of the comic’s main characters. Both tees are great, and the perfect way to tell the world you’re a Cibopath (or at least, a wannabe Cibopath).

Johnny Cupcakes x Elf “Big Kid Buddy” T-Shirt

Earlier this week Johnny Cupcakes a new batch of holiday themed t-shirts, including this epic design which is unofficially based on Will Ferrell’s hit 2003 film Elf (yes The Blot totally made that up)! The “Big Kid Elf”, which The Blot likes to call the “Big Kid Buddy”, features Johnny Cupcakes’ mascot Big Kid dressed up as the film’s titular character. Amazing, right!?! I especially like that JC printed this festive Christmas design on a true green tee.

Frank Kozik Exclusive Orange Dead Kozik Vinyl Bust by Kevin Gosselin

The Dead Kozik Bust was originally sculpted and designed by artist Kevin Gosselin for Frank Kozik's 1 AM Gallery Tribute Show in San Francisco earlier this year 2013. Thankfully that one of a kind sculpture has been transformed into this beautiful and massive 16” vinyl bust!

The FrankKozik.net Exclusive Dead Kozik Bust is cast in electric orange vinyl, limited to just 50 pieces, and packaged in a box that comes signed and numbered by Kozik. Collectors can purchase the Orange Dead Kozik Bust now from Frank’s online store for $200 each.

DC Comics x UglyDoll Vinyl Figures

The DC Comics x UglyDoll collaboration continues with this really fun new line of vinyl figures by Funko! After originally debuting as a line of cute (yet ugly) plush figures, these exciting DC Comics x UglyDoll characters can now be yours as 3.75” collectible vinyl figures. This release includes Ice-Bat cosplaying as Batman, Babo cosplaying as Superman and Wedgehead dressed up as Robin, the Boy Wonder. What a fun collab!

Each DC Comics x Uglydoll vinyl figure by Funko comes packaged in a full color, displayable window box and retails for $9.99 each. While these figures aren’t expected to hit store shelves until February 11th, you can pre-order all three figures from Entertainment Earth here.

Skullhead 6” White Resin Bust by Huck Gee

On Wednesday, December 11th, Huck Gee released this beautiful Skullhead resin bust! Busts seem to be all the rage these days, and as long as they’re this epic The Blot says keep ‘em coming! The Skullhead bust was painted gleaming white by Huck, stands 6” tall and features pretty wings and a stone faced killer stare. I can’t wait to see what different colorways Huck has in store for us! Limited to just 50 pieces, the white Skullhead Bust retailed for just $100 via the Huck Gee online store. Honestly, that price feels like a steal considering how much Huck’s customs normally sell for. Unfortunately these busts sold out almost immediately upon release.
