Grey Matter Art will be attending New York Comic Con 2016 this weekend and setting up shop at booth #3064 with an insane line-up off limited edition Marvel Comics prints!!! GMA’s line-up of NYCC 2016 exclusive Marvel prints includes works by Raid71, Matt Ferguson, Dave Perillo, Godmachine, Scott Derby and a fantastic Ant-Man movie poster by Alexander Iaccarino. If there are any leftover posters from New York Comic Con, GMA will be holding a 2 part online sale the week after.

“Daredevil” by Matt Ferguson measures 18”x24” and will be available in four editions. The Glow in the Dark Regular Edition is limited to 250 pieces and retails for $40; the Variant Edition is limited to 125 pieces and retails for $45; the Regular Edition 6”x9” Handbill is limited to 100 pieces and retails for $10; the Variant Handbill is limited to 125 pieces and comes with the variant print.

“Spider-Man Vs Vulture” by Chris Thornley (Raid71) measures 24”x36”, is limited to 150 pieces and retails for $45.

“Spider-Man” by Scott Derby measures 18”x24”, is limited to 100 pieces and retails for $35.

“Daredevil: Fearless Since 1964” by Dave Perillo measures 12”x24” and comes in two editions: Regular Edition is limited to 150 pieces and retails for $40 while the Variant Edition is limited to 64 pieces and retails for $45.

“Punisher: Punishing Since 1974” by Dave Perillo measures 12”x24” and is limited to 150 pieces and retails for $40.

“Carnage” by Godmachine measures 18”x24”, features glow in the dark ink, is limited 175 pieces and retails for $40.

“Ant-Man” by Alexander Iaccarino measures 24”x36” and is available in two editions: the Regular Edition is limited to 200 pieces and retails for $45 and the Variant Edition is limited to 125 pieces and retails for $55.

NYCC 16 Exclusive Star Wars “JaWabbit” Plush by Flat Bonnie x DKE Toys

The Blot loves Flat Bonnie’s convention exclusive Star Wars themed plushes! So I was excited to learn she’s teaming up with DKE Toys to release the New York Comic Con 2016 Exclusive JaWabbit, which is the Flat Bonnie rabbit cosplaying as a Jawa from Star Wars. This fantastic exclusive stands 12” tall and is made from soft fleece, vinyl pleather and safety eyes.

MondoCon Exclusive “A headlight in the path of our breathing...” Screen Print by Daniel Danger

Daniel Danger has just unveiled a freaking beautiful new print he’ll be releasing exclusively at MondoCon 2016! Entitled “...a headlight in the path of our breathing, a quiet little sound we can live in”, Danger explains that it’s “a thematic nod to the need for, yet fear of, new growth within your own established and dying systems.” And no, it’s not for a movie!

NYCC 16 Exclusive Garfield “Garf” Print by Olly Moss x Bottleneck Gallery

Not only has Bottleneck Gallery teamed up with PAWS to start releasing officially licensed Garfield prints, but they’ve teamed up with some of the most popular screen print artists in the world to work on the iconic orange cat! For their first PAWS collaboration, Bottleneck Gallery is releasing this fantastic Garfield print by Olly Moss entitled “Garf”. Evidently Garfield was a passion project for Olly and he was given free range to do anything he wanted. It was even approved by Garfield creator Jim Davis!

The New York Comic Con 2016 Exclusive “Garf” by Olly Moss is a 12”x36” giclee print. Limited to just 100 pieces, collectors can purchase the print on Friday, October 7th, at the Bottleneck Gallery NYCC booth #2171 for $50.

This year’s NYCC exclusive DC Comics tumbler features a gorgeous Batman image on a heavy-duty 16 oz. pint glass with the New York Comic Con logo on the back. WWE Painting and Print Series by Mike Egan

The Blot has been a pretty big fan of professional wrestling most of my life. Yes, my fandom has ebbed and flowed over the years, but I’ve followed the WWE even if I’m not actually watching the product on TV. So of course I was really pumped to learn Mike Egan had been working on a killer WWE painting series featuring some of the biggest WWE Superstars from the ‘80s and ‘90s!

Egan’s WWE series includes 8”x8” acrylic on wood panel paintings of Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Macho Man Randy Savage, the Ultimate Warrior, the Iron Sheik and Jake “The Snake” Roberts. I don’t know about you, but The Blot really, really wants that painting of Andre! I love Mike’s unique take on these iconic professional wrestlers. Each original painting retails for just $175 at the Mike Egan online store and most are still available!

All of these fantastic WWE paintings have also been released as a six piece giclee print set entitled “Childhood Heroes” that retails for $200! This release is limited to just 5 sets and includes five 7”x7” prints on high quality 11”x8.5” paper.

NYCC 16 Exclusive Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice B&W Superman Play Arts Kai Action Figure by Square Enix

Square Enix has unveiled their exclusive Play Arts Kai action figure for New York Comic Con 2016, and it’s this killer Black and White Variant of their Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Superman 10” action figure. This NYCC 2016 Exclusive is rendered in grayscale, a long-requested paint variant from fans of the Play Arts Kai toy line. The black and white coloring evokes Superman’s black and white film serials, while still highlighting the sleekness and dynamism of his modern design in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Each figure also includes a display stand and an interchangeable head and hands. This awesome limited edition BvS Play Arts Kai figure is limited to just 1,000 pieces and is now available for pre-order at the Square Enix online store or at its NYCC 16 booth for $149.99. It will not be shipped until November 2016.

Super7 will be at New York Comic Con 2016 next weekend with a killer collection of exclusive pop culture inspired t-shirts!
