Godzilla & Hedorah Vintage Variant Soft Vinyl Figure Set by Mondo

Two giant monsters battle, crushing streets and forests underfoot! Mondo has released the third colorway – the Vintage Variant – of their Godzilla and Hedorah Soft Vinyl Figure Set.  These figures are inspired by the Toho classic film Godzilla vs Hedorah. Limited to just 200 sets, these limited edition figures can be pre-ordered now at MondoShop.com for $250.

The Godzilla soft vinyl figure stands 8” tall, while the Hedorah figure is 9.5” tall. The set also includes an Attachable Battle Damaged Hedorah Eye, an Attachable Battle Damaged Godzilla Eye, and a Smoke Stack Building.

SDCC 2023 Exclusive Godzilla Toho ReAction Action Figures by Super7

Super7 is heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2023 later this month and they have a ton of epic, officially licensed exclusives lined up for their SDCC booth #2542, including four awesome Godzilla Toho ReAction retro action figures! First up is this 3.75” scale articulated Comic-Con 2023 Edition Godzilla Toho ReAction Figure, which is inspired by the original 1954 film and features the King of the Monsters snacking on a series of Tokyo train cars with window box packaging that depicts the mighty monster emerging from Toyko Bay to terrorize the city.

Next up is the SDCC 2023 Exclusive Shogun Rodan Toho ReAction Figure. This 3.75” scale articulated Toho ReAction Figure of Shogun Rodan features a mighty (but manageable) 7.5” wingspan as well as a unique dark red color, and box packaging inspired by the vintage Shogun toys.

Hedorah Oil Slick Variant is based on the crafty kaiju foe’s appearance from the Showa Era smash Godzilla vs Hedorah and features a super-sleek (and super slick) metallic blue and purple color scheme. Yesterday, Mondo released its second round of Godzilla ’84 and Hedorah soft vinyl figures! Round 2 includes Godzilla ‘84 “Return of Godzilla” Variant and Hedorah Smog Monster Variant. The Return of Godzilla Variant Godzilla ’84 sofubi stands 7.5” tall, is limited to 300 pieces and retailed for $90, while the Hedorah Smog Monster Variant sofubi stands 6” tall, is also limited to 30 pieces and retailed for $85. SDCC 2020 First Look: Godzilla Sofubi Vinyl Figure Line by Mondo Launches with Hedorah!

On Thursday, Mondo held a fun San Diego Comic-Con 2020 panel entitled “An Evening With Toys – A Sneak Peek at Mondo's Toys and Collectibles Lineup” where they showcased a ton of their upcoming releases. One of the most exciting announcements is that Mondo will be producing a new line of Godzilla soft vinyl figures! The first figure in this officially licensed Toho sofubi toy line is the 6” Hedorah.

As Mondo explained, “Getting the honor to make Godzilla inspired Sofubi is a dream come true for us here at Mondo, so we can promise that these will be made with love! Our Hedorah Sofbui figure was designed and sculpted by Hector Arce. And will be the first one to launch our Sofubi and Godzilla line.”
