The Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 435 pieces and will retail for $45, while the Variant has a limited edition run size of 225 and will retail for $70. Guardians of the Galaxy Wacky Wobbler Bobble Heads by Funko - Star-Lord & Rocket Raccoon

The Blot has no idea where I’m going to display all of these amazing Guardians of the Galaxy movie toys coming out this summer, but I want them all!!! Sadly, Funko has only given two members of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy the Wacky Wobbler bobble head treatment, their leader Star-Lord and the furry Rocket Raccoon. I’m shocked there isn’t a Drax bobble head, and how awesome would a Groot be??? Hopefully we’ll be getting a second wave of Guardians of the Galaxy Wacky Wobblers with the team’s three other members (yes, I need a Gamora too).

Each Guardians of the Galaxy Wacky Wobbler Bobble Head by Funko stands 7” tall, comes standing on a detailed base packaged in a full color window box. While these figures are not scheduled to hit store shelves until September 2014, you can pre-order both of them from Entertainment Earth for $12.99 each here.

MoCCA Exclusive Steampunk Gentlebot, Playbot Bunnies & Cosmic JellyBot Resin Figures by The Jelly Empire

This weekend at the MoCCA Festival in NYC, The Jelly Empire will be debuting three new collections of her popular JellyBot resin figure! First up is the Steampunk Gentlebot, which is limited to just 5 pieces and includes a dapper looking staff. Then there’s the Playbot Bunnies, two blondes and two brunettes, who are ready to get the party started with each including its own tray of drinks.

Last but not least are these sparkly Cosmic JellyBots! These translucent resin figures accidentally swallowed up stars and nebulas on their way to Earth for a really cool effect. Limited to just 10 pieces, these glittery JellyBot tints look fantastic! All three JellyBot series will be available for purchase from The Jelly Empire booth #C24 this weekend at the MoCCA Festival April 5-6th from 11-6pm EDT at the 69th Regiment Armoury 68 Lexington Avenue (25th Street) New York. What’s really killer about this figure is its head is made from translucent vinyl with metallic silver and blue sprays.

After originally debuting at Kevin Tong and Martin Ansin’s amazing duo art show at Mondo Gallery last month, Mondo is finally releasing this beautiful The Wizard of OZ screen print by Kevin Tong! While we’ve all come to admire highly detailed and technical work of Tong, what I love about this movie poster is its simplicity. It’s amazing how he is able to juxtapose the colorful world of OZ with the dour, monotone Kansas. Kevin’s foreground line work is impeccable!

There is a very spooky Record Store Day 2014 exclusive being released to coincide with the 30th Anniversary of the original Ghostbusters movie! It’s this beautiful glow in the dark 10” vinyl record featuring the film’s hit theme song “Ghostbusters” by Ray Parker, Jr.! Not only does the album really glow, but it features the Ghostbusters logo printed directly on the record. So basically you’re getting a picture disc and glow in the dark green vinyl all in one super rare limited, edition release. Along with the original version of the Ghostbusters theme, this 10” single includes three other versions of the song: an instrumental version, a dance remix and a dub version. How can you say no to that!?!

The Record Store Day 2014 Exclusive Ghostbusters 10” GID Single is limited to 2,000 pieces and will retail for $17.99. Who you gonna call!?! Technically the Ghostbusters 10” glow in the dark single is a “Record Store Day 2014 First Release”, which means this is a title you can find on Record Store Day at Record Store Day participating stores first, but at some point in the future (generally four to six weeks) it will also be available at other retailers.

X-Men: Days of Future Past Teaser Movie Poster & 2nd Official Trailer

If like The Blot you’re a huge fan of comic book movies then you’re in for a treat these next few months! I still can’t believe the films that are coming out beginning this weekend with Captain America: The Winter Solider, then Amazing Spider-Man 2, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Guardians of the Galaxy and Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For. It’s going to be an incredible summer to say the least! X-Men: DOFP looks pretty sick, and I love how the film is bringing together the cast of the original X-Men trilogy with the cast of First Class. It’s an X-Men fan’s dream come true! And how awesome is this latest theatrical one sheet teaser movie poster and the second official trailer!?! I can’t wait to see this movie!

Isn’t it amazing how all these years later DC’s Blackest Night storyline is still inspiring awesome toys? Who knew that one crossover would inspire so many releases. Collectors can get their hands on this Standard Edition and a super limited edition shiny Metallic Variant Blue Lantern The Flash exclusively at the Fugitive Toys booth at C2E2 taking place in Chicago April 25-27.

First Look: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mini Figure Series by The Loyal Subjects

It looks like 2014 is going to bring us dueling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mini figure series just in time for the new TMNT live action movie. Following Kidrobot’s announcement of a TMNT series comes word that The Loyal Subjects will also be releasing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles blind box series based on the popular ‘90s cartoon. I’m just shocked Nickelodeon would license two competing series of 3” vinyl figures featuring essentially the same version of the characters. You’d think they’d at least want these series to focus on different eras of the Ninja Turtles. Either way the real winner in all this is us the TMNT fans!

The TMNT Mini Figure Series includes Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, Splinter, April O’Neil, Shredder, Rocksteady, Bebop, and two Foot Clan Ninjas (Red and Purple). I’m just shocked that April’s not sporting her signature yellow jumpsuit! That better be a rare mystery chase variant.
